Song We Like: Amazing Grace by Vienna Ditto
Songs We LikeWe love everything Vienna Ditto does. It’s almost certain that this production was not as effortless to make as it sounds…But maybe it was. Talent should be easy. (Featured on our #33 Podcast, Satan’s Eggnog.)
Podcast 25: Ugly
Podcastsohn reminisces about his days of being pretty, and also reveals some latent jealousy about men who can sew. Jenna and Ian Duvall of Sang Sarah talk about the creepy mannequin in their basement. Cinnamon’s EDM career takes a turn for the worse. We also have excellent music:
- Bronson Wisconsin with Goodbye Ventura
- The Styrofoam Turtles with Sunshine (album release on 10/31)

- SixToes with Nobody Inn
- The Ugly (the defunct one, from Temecula, CA) with Picasso
- Vienna Ditto with Dreamed Me a Riot
Thank you to Foot Gun for providing our theme song, thank you to Jenna Duvall and Ian Duvall of Sang Sarah for the excellent interview, and thank you to The Asheville Rock Collective, for existing.

Album Review: شبح by Vienna Ditto
Album ReviewsOne half of this band is a hauntingly beautiful singer, and the other half is a commanding electronic music artist. That combination exists all over the place, but never like this. They both have so much skill that neither outshines the other, and the music is both listenable and totally unpredictable. Don’t break up, Vienna Ditto! Our favorite song: Dreamed Me a Riot. (Reviewed on our #25 podcast, Ugly.)
